Calculator
Change coffee or ratio to get water; change water to get coffee. 1 g of water ≈ 1 ml.
Steps
- Place the filter with the triple-fold side toward the spout; rinse and discard the water.
- Add coffee and tare.
- Bloom with about twice the coffee weight in water for 45 seconds.
- Pour in stages, keeping the water level steady below the rim.
- Total brew around 4–5 minutes; remove the filter and swirl.
Common mistakes
- Grinding as fine as for V60: the thick filter clogs.
- Triple fold on the wrong side: the spout channel collapses and flow stops.
These are starting points. Adjust grind first, then ratio, one change at a time.
